7 REASONS TO HAVE A FITNESS ROUTINE AS A FEMALE ENTREPRENEUR
1. Overcome The “Downs” Of Entrepreneurship
We all know the life of an entrepreneur can have it’s ups and downs. When you work out, your body produces a hormone called an endorphin. When endorphins are released, they activate the body’s opiate receptors, causing an analgesic effect. *cue angels singing* Basically, all those big words mean is that working out = makes you feel good! When you feel good, the “downs” of being an entrepreneur do not hurt so bad.
2. Business Progression
It’s just you and the gym. I tend to get my best and most profitable ideas when I am working out. I eliminate distractions from my to-do list and just focus. My mind gets clarity, and therefore allows new ideas and solutions to flow in.
3. Retain Information From Podcasts And Audiobooks
If you’re a female entrepreneur, then you already know how important multitasking is (if you do it right). Ever try to listen to a podcast and write a blog post at the same time? Yeah, good luck on retaining any information or writing anything worth reading… Doing a physical activity while also exercising your brain can actually help you retain more information than if you were doing two mental tasks at once.
4. Improve Your Health
We all want our businesses to live forever, grow big, and prosper. But can our business have great health if we don’t take care of ourselves first? The answer in the short term might be yes, but long term- definitely not! If you can’t take care of yourself, who is going to take care of your business when you are sick?
5. Sleep Better
Working out your body promotes better sleeping patterns. Better sleep = more brain power. More brain power = your business taking over the world *que evil laugh* muahahaha. But seriously, sleep is so important! Working at a desk all day isn’t going to cut it in the exercise department. Make sure you exercise at least 3-4 x per week, even if it is just a walk in the neighborhood!
6. Promote Healthy Water And Food Habits
Having a healthy fitness routine generally includes a cleaner diet, and more water! More water and clean food makes your body and mind be able to focus more, feel better, and improve your health. This will give you more time and energy to focus on your passion. You can set aside those aches and pains you had distracting you from being productive and knock out some amazing work.
7. Have More Energy
Working out, eating clean, and drinking water all attribute to more energy. This energy is up to you to decide how to use it. Be a better business woman, land more clients, make more sales, read a new book. Expand your opportunities.
